The other half of Binary Star, Senim Silla, is a great emcee. Just like One Be Lo, he's terrific. This is the only solo album he's put out, but it's really good. Great listen.

Shwayze - Rich Girls Mixtape (2008)

Here's a mixtape from Shwayze that came out today. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I've heard a few good tracks already, pretty mellow still. Still like it. I'm sure there are a few bad tracks, I think one of the cunts from that little 3oh3 group are one one of the songs...I hope that doesn't suck...anyway, here's the link.

One Be Lo (also known as OneManArmy) is a Hip-Hop artist from Pontiac, Michigan who has recently replaced Mos Def as my favorite Hip-Hop artist. He was incredible as one half of Binary Star,but his solo stuff is even better. He's untouchable, excellent beats with even better lyrics. Just suburb.

Blackstar - S/T (1998)

Blackstar is a group consisting of my favorite Hip-Hop artist Mos Def, and Talib Kweli. This is a fantastic album, I can't say enough about it. In my opinion it's better than any of the two artists solo work, which is saying something because they are both incredible. Excellent album, you'd be stupid not to download it.
